10 Most Popular TV Series Still Running
I woke up today with a hunch as I dreamt about vampires the night before. You know those ferocious half-dead humans with fangs (lol, I do know you know them).
Well I kept on thinking about them leading me to reminisce about one of my favorite, classic TV series – Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I have always had a thing with horror and Buffy was one TV series that brought me closer to the horror/thriller genre.
While I was still thinking and reminiscing (I was obviously bored and had nothing to do lol), I began to remember other TV series that had molded my childhood (most weren’t horror unfortunately), and they included: Sunset Beach, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Passions, Merlin, Legend of Seeker, Family Matters, Martin, Everybody Hates Chris, Second Chance, The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives.
I enjoyed them because for one TV series had much more running time and episodes than regular movies, so I always looked forward to the next episode filled with suspense and all.
I’m in my early 20s now and there hasn’t been any decline of good TV series that is sure to keep you on the edge of your seats week in, week out, hungry for more. So I decided to come up with a list that consists of TV series that are currently on air and have amassed quite a number of viewers every week they air as they provide classic entertainment.

2. THE WALKING DEAD
No one wants to wake up in a post-apocalyptic world with flesh hungry dead beings walking around (I mean zombies this time).
This TV series being adapted from a comic of the same name created by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard has come to be a lovable TV series even though they have a penchant for killing off major casts, it did so again in the just concluded eighth season.
With Andrew Lincoln playing as Rick Grimes the protagonist of the series who leads a group of survivors that must do whatever is necessary to stay alive in a world consisting of the undead called ‘Walkers”.
The TV series has been well received by critic, though more recently the reviews have been mixed, the TV series has also been nominated for various awards and have its own spin-off.
